It lets you import scanned photos or clip art, chooses suitable colors for you, and converts these into designs, then lets you print out the designs. iCloud access is not part of the tool we develop with, but is 'coming soon' Without it, using Finder and the shared files option is the only way Apple will allow. An easy to use, yet extremely powerful computer program, which allows you to create cross stitch, tapestry, beadwork, knitting, and other similar sorts of designs. We would love to implement import via web. We weren't aware of the 3-year 'bug' prior to this review, so will look into it. I think thats more than enough shared for the moment. (Nice to have) Allow for adjustments on import on fly. It should allow for basic crop nothing too fancy, if your going to err allow for the app to help the user understand why :)!Ģ. If the image is more than 2k x 2k it just closes the image previewer with no error. (Known Bug for 3 years unfixed, based on comments) Fix the file size too large on import. Its a Computer first application, despite the app having a folder I cant add Files to it.ġ. Its 2022, And this app requires you to connect to your ipad via iTunes. These fixes will be in V1.3, currently in the Apple review pipeline. We have addressed the deletion of incorrect area (this happened after scrolling the image), and added a new option to erase backstitch from a selected area. Being able to rotate the canvas would be very useful. It’s also annoying that although I can use the ‘Cloth’ option to erase/delete whole stitches in a rectangular selection in one step, I have to delete back stitches one square at a time. If you upgrade your Mac OS, you may sometimes need to upgrade to the latest MacStitch too. However, a random area nearby is deleted. 2014 versions and earlier may not work on the summer 2015 versions of Yosemite 2016 versions onwards only work on OSX 10.7 and later) We change what needs to be changed for shipping versions of Macstitch, but we cannot go back and change the old versions. When I choose ‘Erase’ the area I selected isn’t affected at all. The app just deleted a section of a design that I didn’t want to delete! When using the selection tool, the menu comes up asking if I want to copy, erase, flip, etc. I’ve had MacStitch for a few years, and hoped this would work as well, or better. ![]() THEN, the next time I open the app the file is completely gone!!! Why?!? It’s infuriating! ![]() EDIT: This app needs serious help! Several times, I’ve started new designs, named them, saved them, made lots of progress, saving as I go.
